The HC13 Series is designed for electric vehicles equipped with on-board chargers. It is suitable for residential communities, private homes, commercial office buildings, roadside parking facilities, public charging stations, and EV dealership service centers. The wall-mounted form factor features a lower-in, lower-out cable routing design, making installation straightforward and space-efficient.
Key Technical Specifications
The HC13 Series operates at a rated input/output voltage of 240Vac (±15%) at 60Hz, with maximum output current options of 32A, 40A, and 48A. Standby power consumption is less than 5W. The unit features a 4.3-inch LCD display and a three-color LED indicator for clear, real-time status feedback. WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity (optional) enable both Plug-and-Charge and APP-scheduled charging via the TuYa cloud platform. The input plug type is NEMA 14-50P and the connector type is Type 1 (SAE J1772), fully compatible with mainstream North American EV charging standards.
Multi-Layer Safety Protection
The HC13 Series incorporates a comprehensive set of protection functions: over-voltage protection (relay opens when input voltage exceeds 120%), under-voltage protection (relay opens when input voltage falls below 80%), overload protection, over-temperature protection (current derating at 90°C, automatic shutdown above 95°C), grounding protection, earth leakage protection (CCID20 compliant), and an emergency stop function. These mechanisms work in combination to ensure safe and reliable charging operation.
Environmental Adaptability and Reliability
The HC13 Series is rated for an operating temperature range of -30°C to +50°C and a storage temperature range of -35°C to +80°C, with operating humidity of 5%–95% RH. The enclosure protection rating is TYPE 4, and the unit is rated for operation at altitudes up to 2,000 meters. The product carries a rated MTBF of 100,000 hours, a mechanical service life of 6,000 charge cycles (based on 5 cycles per day), and undergoes a minimum 2-hour burn-in test at 50°C ±5°C under full load conditions. A 2-year warranty is provided as standard.
Standards Compliance
The HC13 Series is designed to comply with ETL-related standards, including UL2231-1/-2, UL2594, UL991, UL2251, and UL1998, as well as international standards IEC 61851-1, EN/IEC 61851-1, IEC 62955, and IEC 61851-21-2. The product is also compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements.
Physical Specifications
The unit measures 368mm × 256.5mm × 130mm and weighs approximately 6.67kg (±10%). The enclosure is finished in Pearl Black (PANTONE 446C). Cable length is available as a configurable option, with a standard input line length of 0.6m.
