HIITIO, a manufacturer of DC electrical components for the new energy sector, today announced the expansion of its low-voltage DC contactor product line, adding new models across the HCD, ZJWP, and HCM1 series. The expanded lineup targets circuit control and safe isolation duties in electric forklifts, energy storage systems, electric vehicles, solar power installations, and industrial mobile equipment.

A Broader Range of Voltage and Current Options
The new lineup extends HIITIO’s low voltage switching portfolio across a wider span of coil voltages and current ratings than its previous offering. The HCD series covers 80V DC applications with current ratings from 100A up to 600A, addressing high-current circuits in mobile equipment and battery systems. The ZJWP series, rated at up to 96V DC with current options from 80A to 400A, adds magnetic blowout contacts that accelerate arc extinction during high-current switching — a design detail that matters in applications with frequent load cycling, such as forklift charging circuits and DC motor control.
At the top of the new release is the HCM1 series, available in 150A (HCM1) and 300A (HCM1-L) resistive-load ratings, with peak inrush capability of 800A and 1,600A, respectively. The HCM1 series offers six coil voltage options — 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, and 72V DC — along with both intermittent (25%) and 100% continuous duty-cycle versions, giving system designers flexibility to match the contactor to their specific electrical architecture without redesigning the surrounding circuit.

Built for Harsh-Environment Reliability
A key feature across the new HCM1 series is IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof protection, allowing the contactor to operate reliably in marine, RV, agricultural, and other exposed outdoor environments where dust and moisture ingress are common failure points for switching components. The series is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +65°C and a storage range of -40°C to +85°C, and carries an electrical life rating of up to 300,000 cycles — a specification relevant to applications with high switching frequency, such as forklift charging stations and telecom backup power systems.
Contact construction across the series uses copper contacts for conductivity, and the HCM1 series is available with four mounting bracket configurations (C, Z, V, and T types) to accommodate different panel and enclosure layouts without custom hardware. All models in the low voltage DC contactor line carry RoHS, CE, and REACH certification.

Target Applications
HIITIO positions the expanded low voltage DC contactor series for use across:
- Electric vehicles, golf carts, and forklifts
- Solar energy storage systems (ESS) and battery management
- Marine, RV, and off-grid power systems
- Industrial automation and DC motor control
- Telecom base stations and UPS systems
- Agricultural and heavy machinery equipment
“Low voltage DC switching components are often treated as a commodity item, but field failures in these circuits usually trace back to contact wear, moisture ingress, or arc damage during repeated cycling,” said a HIITIO product engineering representative. “The expanded HCD, ZJWP, and HCM1 lineup was developed to address those specific failure points, with electrical life, sealing, and arc-extinguishing performance validated against the duty cycles our customers actually run in the field.”
Availability
The expanded low voltage DC contactor lineup is available now through HIITIO’s direct sales channel and distribution partners, with samples, full specification sheets, and dimensional drawings available on request. Full technical documentation for the HCM1 series, including coil voltage options and mounting bracket dimensions, is published alongside the product listing.
